Who we are

Like many of the best stories, ours started small, with a great idea and plenty of dedication. Viruna is now an internationally-renowned high-end furniture design and manufacturing business, but it began in a basement. In 1994 company director Vytautas Paulauskas spotted a gap in the market for premium quality custom-made furniture, and started creating his own designs from his basement. Demand for his products grew, and Vytautas began working on more complex projects like bespoke kitchen units. As Viruna’s popularity grew, especially amongst customers setting up new homes, the brand expanded to offer design, manufacture, engineering and consultancy services. We now have a dynamic, highly skilled workforce of 69 people and cover all aspects of creating beautiful design-driven furniture that perfectly combines form and function. 

What we do

Our expert craftspeople use cutting-edge equipment and technology, as well as traditional artisanal skills, to create our own collection of products and develop existing pieces for our export partners. We are proud to be one of the leading custom furniture manufacturers in Lithuania, with clients and distributors around the world. 

We work with architects, designers and clients across a range of interior projects, from hotels and restaurants to individual homes. Our clients’ needs are at the heart of everything we do, and we constantly strive to bring to life your ideas and dreams. 

We specialise in top quality manufactured and solid woods, metals and plastic; whilst our dedicated painting factory uses a range of hand-painting and semi-automated techniques to produce flawless matte and gloss finishes. Thanks to our expertise in veneers, superb craftsmanship and unique aesthetic, every Viruna piece has quality and attention to detail in its DNA. Our look is Modern Scandinavian with an Italian twist. And it’s always impeccable.
